What it Means To Go Beyond Positive Thinking and What it Can Do For Our Lives! In this article, you will Learn What It Takes To Go Beyond Positive Thinking and really improve every aspect of your life.

To go beyond positive thinking means you will have to take an in-depth look at yourself with kind eyes.Beyond Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is merely an attempt of controlling our lives through the basis of our thoughts.

If you want to take control of your life it’s important that you gain a basic understanding of who you are; how healthy is your self-image?

Our self-image, which is the picture of ourselves that we hold in our minds, plays a major role in the development of our personality.

All our actions, feelings, behaviors, and even our abilities are consistent with this picture we have formed in our mind. We literally act out the kind of person that we think that we are.

When I say we need to go Beyond Positive Thinking I am referring to improving the picture we have formed of ourselves within our mind.

If our self-image is damaged then we tend to believe that we are damaged.

What we have to be aware of is that as long as we are holding onto that picture of ourselves there is no amount of will power, commitment, determination or effort that will cause us to be any other way, because we are always going to act in the way that we see ourselves.

So it is really our self-image that we must work on if we want to see any type of personal change for once we improve our self-image we can then venture beyond positive thinking into positive believing.

Beyond Positive Thinking Self-ImagePositive thinking will not change who we are all on its own, as long as our self-image is damaged we will never reach our full potential in life.

That’s why I say we must go beyond positive thinking to achieve any real and lasting changes.

We must take a really close look at how our self-image was formed and actions we can take to change it for the better.

Our self-image has been years in the making. From birth onwards we have collected ideas of how smart we are or how stupid, whether we are confident or fearful, we decide how we look in comparison to our peers and the list goes on.

Basically, our entire self-image has been made up of all our experiences throughout our childhood. We carry these beliefs, whether they have any truth to them or not.

It is our self-image that allows us to be happy or sad, successful or unsuccessful it literally rules our life.

This is what makes up the differences of people in society, for some their self-image has been molded and shaped in a very positive way.

Yet for others, it can be drastically damaged through destructive criticism received throughout their childhood.

You can take some extra steps to work on building your self-confidence. It does you no good at all to sit back and just accept these character weaknesses when you have the power to affect some real change in your life.

Take The Action To Go Beyond Positive Thinking

You should be practicing the use of affirmations and positive self-talk but you must go beyond positive thinking to the point that you start to take some real action.

Positive thinking is expecting, talking and visualizing with certainty what you want to achieve, as an accomplished fact.
