One study even found people who have a high-strain type of job to have enlarged hearts compared to those who had low-strain jobs.

People tend to categorize stressful situations like the effects of just bad events in our lives. We can experience stress even when good things happen to us such as getting a new job or getting a new mortgage.

People who have a buildup of these stressful life events also have health problems. Depression is much more likely to rear its ugly head if you cannot learn to deal with stressful situations.

What’s stressful for you may be quite different from what’s stressful to your best friend, your spouse, or the person next door.

In small doses, stress can be a good thing. It can give you the push you need, motivating you to do your best and to stay focused and alert. Too much stress on the other hand can be very damaging to your life.

The death of a loved one is something that affects all of us a one time or another and having a support system in place at a time like this is very important.

The loss of a job can be too much for some to handle. It’s best if there is a way we can prepare for such a life-changing event.

Children can be on their best behavior at times and then there are those times when they can just almost push us over the edge.

Your own health can become a major cause of stress if it is something you cannot get under control.

I personally have a lot of health issues and they at one point had caused me a great deal of stress. I have since learned how to deal with many personal issues without letting stress take over.

There are a lot of people who turn to alcohol to deal with their stress, but in the end, the alcohol becomes the cause of the stress.

You have to be aware of how well you can handle different situations and you have to be ready to deal with them in a manner that will not exasperate the situation.

The lack of sleep will absolutely cause your level of stress to increase. There are some things that you can take control of before they take control of you.

An argument with a spouse, family member, friends, co-workers, your boss can all be causes of stress in your life.

Excess stress can manifest itself in a variety of emotional, behavioral, and even physical symptoms, and the symptoms of stress vary enormously among different individuals.

You have to really learn to take control of the stress that presents itself in your life. If you don’t put together some type of plan to deal with stress it can literally ruin your life.

Certain causes of stress can make you do things that are just way out of character.

People really have to realize how important it is that they have something in place to help them deal with all the stressful events that occur throughout our lives.

Just remember the key to defeating the causes of stress begins with self-awareness.
