I credit positive thinking and the use of positive affirmations for saving my life and I mean that in the physical sense as well as the spiritual.
By all accounts according to my physicians (dozens of them) I should not even be here to write this article or even worst yet this site would not even exist as it was 12 years ago when I was first told I had less than a year to live.

I’ve been using affirmations to affect positive changes in my life long before I was first diagnosed, however I must admit after my diagnosis I stepped up my use of positive affirmations and I’ve kept them going strong over the past 12 years.

Your outer world is a mirror image of your inner world. If your self-talk is negative and you harbor bad feelings, stress and turmoil on the inside that is exactly what you will experience on the outside.
However this can be changed and controlled with consistent positive reinforcement and through the repetitive use of positive affirmations.

So I ask you again. Why is it so hard for you to praise yourself, to congratulate yourself for a job well-done, to pat your own back once in a while?
